PHAD Joins Forces with Special Olympics Hawaii at Truck Pull & Spring Fest

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Oahu community came together at Ka Makana Ali‘i in Kapolei for the Inaugural Coca-Cola Bottling of Hawaii Truck Pull & Spring Fest—a high-energy event supporting Special Olympics Hawaii. Local teams of eight competed to pull a 40,000-pound Coca-Cola semi-truck, loaded with 10,000 pounds of product, across 30 feet in the fastest time. This inspiring challenge highlighted teamwork, strength, and aloha for a great cause.

Founded in 1968, Special Olympics Hawaii provides year-round sports training and competitions for over 7,200 children and adults with intellectual disabilities across the islands. The organization empowers athletes to develop physical fitness, build self-confidence, and foster meaningful friendships through inclusive athletic experiences.
